Twilight

On of a series of semi-abstract images termed ‘doubles’ where an image is set within an image, in this case two additional images being superimposed over the same background.  The painting is an exercise in colour and tone, a semi-abstract composition designed to evoke a particular mood or feeling similar to the way emotions are evoked by music.  Within the squares, land an light have become fluid.  As though in a crucible, both are transformed.
